Our Mission

The Ave Maria Society Endowment Fund is a 501(c)(3) supporting organization established to provide sustainable, long-term funding for the Ave Maria Society — a faith-based ministry whose schools, community outreach programs, and human services agencies serve those most in need.

Founded in 2016, we manage charitable endowments so that the work entrusted to us — caring for families, educating children, and standing with the vulnerable — can plan and serve with confidence for generations to come.

An endowment is, in its essence, an act of hope: the conviction that what is good and faithful today will continue to bear fruit long after we have departed. Every gift becomes a seed for community impact that endures.

What an Endowment Means

Perpetual Funding

Endowed gifts are invested rather than spent. Only a prudent portion of the earnings is distributed each year, so a single gift becomes a source of support that endures across generations.

Faithful Stewardship

Funds are managed in alignment with Catholic social investment principles. How the endowment grows is held to the same standard of integrity as the mission it serves.

Community Impact

Endowment income flows to schools, outreach programs, and human services that meet real, immediate needs in our community — while building lasting capacity for the years ahead.

Ways to Give

Every gift, large or small, helps preserve the Catholic mission entrusted to us. Please reach out to discuss the option that best reflects your intentions.

Outright Gift

A direct gift of cash, check, or appreciated securities is the simplest way to support the endowment. Outright gifts may be eligible for an income tax deduction in the year they are made.

Bequest in Will

Naming the Endowment Fund as a beneficiary in your will or living trust is a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy of faith without affecting your present resources.

IRA Charitable Rollover

Donors aged 70½ or older may make a Qualified Charitable Distribution from a traditional IRA. The transfer can satisfy required minimum distributions while supporting the endowment tax-efficiently.

Donor-Advised Fund

If you maintain a donor-advised fund through a community foundation or financial institution, you may recommend a grant to the Ave Maria Society Endowment Fund using our EIN.

Our Stewardship

The Ave Maria Society Endowment Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Our annual Form 990-EZ filings are public record and may be verified through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search using our EIN. We operate with the modesty appropriate to a small supporting organization: a lean administrative footprint, prudent investment guidelines aligned with Catholic social teaching, and a steady commitment to keeping costs low so that more of every gift reaches the people the mission is given to serve.
